All travelers are well…

Both Hilary and Katie were traveling today. Hilary is on Spring Break and has job interviews in Maryland and Virginia and is then going to Kitty Hawk, NC to visit with a friend.  She stayed in Fishkill, NY with Andrew’s family last night (Andrew is in Switzerland) and drove to Gaithersburg, MD today where she’ll spend the next few days.  Please keep her in prayer are she travels and with her many interviews.  Katie left around 7:15am to pick up her friend, Dan, near Concord and head back to Eastern.  They made it in record time – no traffic – even on the George Washington Bridge. (Mom, I still hear you singing…”George Washington Bridge, the George Wasington, Washington Bridge…etc.).  She pulled into the main road into campus and her car died…she pulled into a parking lot, got it restarted and drove to her parking spot outside of her dorm…the car died as she pulled in.  We don’t know what the issue is, she’ll get that looked at this week, but we’re so thankful for God’s protection and timing…

As I said in my last post, Katie spent the week with me at school – Dr. Seuss week. I noticed the following quote on her AIM away message…

“I’ve heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from in front and some come from behind, but I’ve bought a big bat and I’m ready, you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me.” ~Dr. Seuss

Have a great evening and a great Monday!

My truck did the exact same thing. It was fine driving to and from TN but almost as soon as we got home, it quit. It’s moments like those that remind us God is our tailwind and the road we travel on. Without Him, we’d just be stuck in a dead car somewhere, with no idea what to do or where to go.
